Know Me
Hi, it's me Allegra! I'm a multidisciplinary artist, animator, educator, and creative director based in San Francisco, California. I received my BFA in Experimental Animation from California Institute of the Arts, where I developed an interdisciplinary approach to storytelling that spans animation, film, music, installation, performance, and fine art. My work explores themes of memory, ritual, identity, mythology, and enchantment, often blending handcrafted processes with digital media. Over the course of my career, I have worked across art direction, design, creative production, and education while maintaining an independent artistic practice rooted in curiosity, imagination, and connection.
For more than a decade, I have taught animation, visual art, and creative technologies to students of all ages, from young children to adults. Teaching has deeply shaped my belief that art must be made accessible, and this belief continues to inform my creative practice. Alongside my work as an educator, I have contributed to projects in film, music, galleries, and cultural institutions while developing my own multidisciplinary project, Arts of Palm, which integrates music, animation, performance, visual art, and contemporary mythology. Through my work, I seek to create experiences that reconnect people with imagination, wonder, and the sacred dimensions of everyday life.
